The successful manufacturer has been based in Orange City, Florida for over 20 years with multiple retail locations spread throughout Florida.  They are seeking individuals with the opportunity to be hired into their newly created Management Development Program.  These positions report to the business owner/president. Successful candidates will be mentored by the business owner, but will also rotate through key areas within the company, with an initial and primary focus in the sales department. Successful candidates should possess:

  •  At least a bachelor’s degree and at least 3-5 years of decision-making experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
  •  Must be based close to the Orange City, Florida area and able to travel throughout the state on a regular basis.

Human Resources Manager-Sanford, FL

This position is a great opportunity for an HR professional seeking to put his or her signature on the function, while working for a growing, manufacturing company in the commercial lighting industry. This position reports directly to the CEO with a dotted line to One Source HR & Risk Solutions. So, this person will also have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the One Source HR and Risk Solutions team. Therefore, this position will provide the opportunity to grow, learn and be exposed to all of the strategic aspects of Human Resources.

Successful candidates should possess:

  • At least 3-5 years of HR Management Experience in a professional work environment.
  • A change agent, who is able to effectively articulate company initiatives.
  • A strong Generalist skill-set, with exposure to all aspects of the Human Resources Function.
  • Strategic partner mindset.
  • Experience in handling all types of Employee Relations issues.
  • Effective Communication Skills and an ability to interact well with others .
  • Ability to facilitate New Hire Orientations, Recognition Functions and other Company Events.
  • Highly advanced organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical capabilities to provide not only HR compliance, but ROI and Trend Reporting to help business partners make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of Payroll Processing and HRIS/HRMS Platforms.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
